Man charged following discovery of cannabis farm

POLICE investigating the discovery of a cannabis farm have charged a Warrington man.

Charlie Cooper, 27, of Padgate Lane, Warrington was charged with production of cannabis, escape from lawful custody and possession of criminal property.

He was remanded into custody and appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 27 March.
He has since been released on conditional bail.
The charges relate to a cannabis farm grow being discovered at a property on Hale Road, Widnes, on 15 August 2022.
