Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 5, 12 and 16. No-one claimed the jackpot prize which will again be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize went to a hospital visitor.

Storage unit
PLANS have been approved for a rear storage unit at the Co-op store at Heatley Mere, Lymm.

Quiz night
A QUIZ night is being held at St Elphin’s Community Centre, Howley, Warrington on Friday, June 3, starting a 8pm. Teams of up to four members can take part.

Sheltered parents
PARENTS waiting for children at St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Orford, Warrington, will be able to wait in comfort. Planners have approved a “parents’ waiting shelter” at the school, along with replacement fencing.

Stables plan
PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for the demolition of The Old Barn, Wood End Lane, Rixton, Warrington, to make way for stables, a tack room and store.

Church ramp
A RAMP to provide disabled access at the Baptist Church, Loushers Lane, Warrington, can be built, planning chiefs have decided.
