MORE than 50 miniature artists and model makers gathered at the eighth annual Warrington Model Show to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Organised by Paul Gemmell and Neil Morrison, the event collected more than £1500 for the charity and included 
life-sized Star Wars characters, remote control tanks, Meccano, Die-Cast miniatures, sci-fi characters and miniature models of trains, airplanes and WWII military vehicles.
Paul said: “We’re proud to support the British Heart Foundation’s fight against heart disease, and I’m so thankful for the participants who continue to make this event a success year after year.”
Shirley McNally, Fundraising and Volunteer Manager, for the British Heart Foundation, said: “Heart disease can affect anyone, young, old, male or female – it doesn’t discriminate. We all know someone who has been affected by heart disease.
“We really appreciate the huge effort that these volunteers have put into raising funds for the charity to enable us to continue our life saving work.”
