Delivery driver has car taken away by police!

A delivery driver who attempted to evade police had their car taken away by Warrington police last night.

The vehicle had no valid insurance and came to the attention of police as it had a headlight and a brake light out and ducked into a residential street when officers pulled behind him.

Unfortunately, someone in Warrington didn’t get their late-night take-away until even later, as the delivery driver had his vehicle seized.

In another incident earlier in the day police arrested a man who allegedly stole a television from the ASDA store at Cockhedge.
The Town Centre Beat Sergeant was on hand to tackle the male who was alleged to have stolen a TV.
He made it as far as the vicinity of Warrington Bank Quay before a Town Centre PCSO discovered him and requested help.
