THE naming rights on Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones stadium have been extended until 2017.
Both the Wolves and car dealership Halliwell Jones are businesses at the ‘heart of the borough-wide community in Warrington’ and the club is delighted to continue such a strong
partnership in these economically testing times.
Andy Gatcliffe, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “The support that the club has received from Halliwell Jones since the opening of the stadium, as our stadium naming rights
partner has now been strengthened even further with the initial 10-year naming rights period having now been extended until 2017.
“We are extremely proud of our close working relationship with this prestigious BMW and MINI Group and look forward to many more years working closely together.”
Phillip Jones, Managing Director of Halliwell Jones Group, added: “We are delighted to further continue our relationship with this remarkable rugby league club. This
sponsorship creates an opportunity for us to more closely align ourselves with the communities of Warrington and also the surrounding North West area. At the same
time it gives us the ability to broaden the Halliwell Jones name nationally, which with internet conscious consumerism offers a national marketing area also.”
