Firefighters called to reports of fire at Warrington pub

FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today, Friday, following reports of a fire in venting at a Warrington pub.

At 09:11 one crew from Warrington was called to the public house on Apollo Park, Westbrook, Warrington, following reports of a fire in venting at a public house.

Further investigation found this to be a fire involving the electrical grid near to gas storage at the premises.
The crew used dry powder extinguishers to put out the fire before handing the incident over to attending utility providers.
