A 28-year-old man is in custody following an alleged assault on an emergency worker at Warrington Hospital on Saturday night.
At 11.40 pm on Saturday 4 March police were called to reports that a member of staff had been assaulted at a hospital in Warrington.
A 28-year-old local man was subsequently arrested at 7 pm on Sunday 5 March in relation to the incident.
The man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency services worker.
He remains in custody at the current time,
