A delivery driver had their car taken away by police last night after it was seen being driven along a footpath near the town centre.
When stopped it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle had no driving licence or MOT!
Police posted on social media:
“Contrary to popular belief, you do need insurance to drive for food deliveries….. and an MOT is useful too. Perhaps the driver shouldn’t have been driving along the pavement if they wanted to avoid the attention of AS/Sgt Hendry of Warrington Police Specials.
“Driver reported for the offence and the vehicle seized!”
