YOUNGSTERS and their parents had the chance to sample activities at the new Croft Village Pre-School during an open day.
Parents could find out about the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, the quality of the provision and talk to staff in an informal setting.
The school, based at Croft Memorial Hall, Mustard Lane (opposite Croft Primary School), will stage another open day on Sunday June 26 from 1.30pm to 4pm.
The pre-school is for children aged two to five and will open on Tuesday September 6.
