Parish council organises volunteers event

0

LYMM Parish Council is organising a community volunteers event this Friday (March 3) at the village hall.

The event is being organised to give an insight into work carried out by volunteers in the village – and to hopefully recruit new volunteers.

Taking place from 3pm to 8pm it will provide an opportunity to meet the many members of the local community that set up these events and activities. Some of them are also looking for help.

Confirmed stalls include Safety Central, Lymm Heritage Centre, LEAF, The Sanctuary Hub, Lymm Radio, Friends of Spud Wood, May Queen, Lymm Historic Transport Day and many more… and maybe you’ll even get involved yourself.

If you’re a Lymm resident, you will also have an opportunity to help the Parish Council prioritise projects for 2023-24.
Refreshments will be available.

For more information, contact Lymm Parish Council on 07555 252 387 or 07741 877 870 or email [email protected] or visit www.lymmparishcouncil.gov.uk
