SHOPPERS at a Warrington mall can visit a “How Can We Help You” exhibition to access a range of information.
Birchwood Mall stages the event on Monday, May 16 between 11am and 3pm.
Experts from a variety of agencies – including Cheshire Police – will be on hand to offer advice and information.
Inspector Richard Spedding, of Warrington Community Safety Partnership, said: “This event is the culmination of work undertaken following public meetings in the area where members of the public said they wanted access to information about how they can help to make a difference in their community.
“The event offers bespoke volunteering opportunities in the local area. This is the first of a number of dates that will be run at Birchwood Mall and at other locations throughout the year.”
Information will be available on volunteering opportunities and how to get involved in the local community.
Inspector Spedding said: “High on the list of important issues we will be discussing, is how by working together we can help people to protect their homes and personal possessions.
“We will be talking about personal safety and there will be people on hand to talk about getting back to work, personal finance and how to save money.”
