TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of this morning following reports of a fire at a large distribution warehouse at Omega, Warrington.

Shortly after midnight crews from WSarrington and Penketh attended at the warehouse premises on Skyline Drive following reports of smoke coming from metal ducting.

They used specialist cutting gear to open up the ducting and a hose reel water jet to put out the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for further hotspots.
They were at the incident for about 2.5 hours.
