FAMILY and friends of Lymm’s Town Crier Peter Powell, who sadly died earlier this year, are preparing to climb a mountain in his memory while raising funds for two of his favourite charities.
On August 26 members of Peter’s family will be climbing Mount Snowdon, with some Lymm locals to raise money for two charities in his memory.
Peter’s Grandson, AJ Powell, who has recently taken over as Town Crier, will also be joining the walk in his Town Crier outfit.
During the walk up Snowdon pictures and videos will be posted.
All money raised will be split to peters supported charities, Lymm in Bloom and Lymm Clothing Charity.
