WARRINGTON South MP Andy Carter has announced that his annual Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair will take place on Friday, March 10 at the Parr Hall.
Following on from last year’s successful fair, which attracted over 1,000 attendees and more than 40 businesses, the event will again help people to understand their opportunities and build relationships with local employers.
The Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair will welcome stallholders from a number of industries such as engineering, healthcare and logistics. The fair is open to all ages who are seeking more information about vacancies and potential employment opportunities.
The jobs fair attracts dozens of local and national businesses that offer some of the best and most recognised apprenticeship and graduate schemes, as well as companies with vacancies for both new and experienced candidates.
Mr Carter said: “This is an event for anyone looking for advice on starting a new career, wanting information about what’s next after school or looking for a change in job.
“Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to learn and earn and are an increasingly popular options for young people as they consider what to do when they’ve finished their exams.
“The event is taking place at the Parr Hall in Warrington Town Centre, it’s totally free to enter and runs from 10am to 2pm.
“Once again local employers have stepped up and we’ve got a wide range of businesses coming from lots of different sectors, including logistics, healthcare, nuclear, engineering and the energy sector. This will be a great event for parents, young people and anyone wanting career advice.”

These employers offer great opportunities for those living in Warrington South and they will be joined by many other exceptional businesses.

The Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair is open to all with no need to book. It is taking place between 10:00 and 14:00 on Friday the 10th of March at the Parr Hall, Palmyra Square South, Warrington, WA1 1BL.
