House fire believed to have been caused by cigarette

FIRE crews from Warrington and Widnes tackled a house fire in Liverpool Road, Warrington yesterday afternoon.
The blaze was on the ground floor of a terraced house and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. Gas and electricity supplies to the property were isolated.
It is believed the fire was started by a cigarette setting a sofa alight.
