Pupils at St Wilfrids’ Primary School, Grappenhall, Warrington, trooped to their neighbouring church as Tristan Franks stood in for Prince William while Millie Short stood in for Kate Middleton.
Meanwhile there will be six official street parties in the town, licensed by the borough council, with road closures in place.
The parties will be taking place on Goldcliffe Close, Callands, Parkland Close, Appleton, Brian Avenue, Stockton Heath, Briar Avenue, Hollins Green, Ashfield Gardens, Latchford and Hardy Road Lymm.

Pictures show the Bride and Groom Millie Short and Tristan Franks, both aged 5, taking time out for a kiss and other members wedding party.

  1. how disappointing that neither traders (apart from Hancock & Wood, who always make an effort) or WBC have put any flags or bunting up in the town centre. Yes, I know they’re short of money – but – this is a very significant event, whether you’re a Royalist or not. I left town today, Thursday, at 2pm – perhaps some appeared later?

In contrast, Altrincham, at the beginning of the week was full of flags and bunting…..both on the approach to town and in the centre
