Village Walking Day

THE annual Grappenhall Walking Day will take place on Saturday, June 25 – and as usual will start at St Wilfrid’s Church, tour the village and then end up at St Wilfrid’s Primary School.
Once there, the school’s summer fete – which is aiming to raise £4,000 towards a new library and stage at the school – will take place.
There will be stalls, a coconut shy, tombola, crafts, displays and refreshments.
Taking part in the walk will be members of the congregation from St Wilfrid’s and Grappenhall Independent Methodist Church, Scouts, Guides and school children.
