Man charged with theft and fraud after debit cards stolen from vehicle

A 20-year-old man has been charged with theft and fraud after debit cards were stolen from a vehicle at Latchford.

Officers from Warrington Central Beat Team attended an address in Latchford and arrested the male in relation to a theft from a motor vehicle and fraud offences after a vehicle was broken into and a number of debit cards were taken.

The offender later used one of these cards to purchase goods. The male has now been charged and remanded to appear in court.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a woman has been arrested for a shoplifting offence. This relates to an incident where she is alleged to have taken over £500 worth of goods from Smyths Toys in October.
