Two men charged with supplying drugs offences following police stop check on M6

TWO men have been charged with drugs offences following a police stop check on the M6 northbound at Thelwall, Warrington.

At around 1pm on Tuesday January 17, officers from the Roads and Crime Unit stopped a red Renault Kangoo on the M6 northbound at Thelwall due to a cracked windscreen.
Following a search of the car, the driver, 36-year-old Derek Miller, and passenger, 46-year-old Mark Lindsey, were both arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
Both men have since been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs (cannabis).
The pair were both remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday January 18.
