Motorist escapes serious injury after car overturns on Sankey Way

A motorist escaped serious injury when a BMW car overturned on Sankey Way, Warrington on Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to reports of a collision at around 1:50 pm today, involving a BMW saloon car that had overturned and collided with a barrier.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 1.50 pm officers were called to reports of a collision on Sankey Way, Warrington.
“Officers attended and found a red BMW had overturned and collided with the barrier.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
