Delays on M56 near Lymm due to emergency carriageway repairs

DELAYS and four miles of congestion were being reported on the M56 near Lymm this afternoon due to emergency carriageway repairs.

Traffic was stopped westbound between J8-J9 for a time but two lanes have since re-opened.

Delays of around 20 minutes are being reported by National Highways.

Traffic is held on the #M56 westbound J8-J9 near #Lymm, due to emergency carriageway repairs.
