UNIFY Credit Union is helping Warrington residents to start saving by opening a new community collection point at Fearnhead Cross Community Centre.

After all the pressures to spend over Christmas, many people will be starting the New Year looking to rebuild their savings pot.
Unify Credit Union is a savings and loans co-operative open to everyone who lives or works in Warrington. They offer a savings account which is easy to open and can be managed in person, on the phone or online. Members can also apply for low-interest ethical loans and any profits from the loans are shared with savers in the form of an annual dividend.
Starting from Friday January 13 2023 there will be a new collection point operating every Friday between 10am and 11am at Fearnhead Cross Community Centre, Insall Road, WA2 0HD. Anyone is welcome to call in and speak to Unify volunteers about the benefits of Unify membership or to make payments into their accounts.
Unify have been established for more than 30 years and expanded to include Warrington last year after gaining over 10,000 members in Wigan, Leigh and Lancashire. Fearnhead Cross will be the 6th established collection point in Warrington, in addition to the branch at Golden Square Shopping Centre.
Unify CEO Angela Fishwick said “Lots of people want to get into good habits at the start of a new year and there’s never a bad time to start saving. Whether you’re setting money aside for next Christmas, getting ready for a summer holiday, or just setting up a safety net for any unexpected bills, Unify can help. Come and see us and see what your Credit Union can do for you.”
