Waste team working as usual

THE Warrington Waste team will be out on Good Friday and on the Royal Wedding Day – April 29.
Waste and recycling teams will work as usual and the borough council would like to remind residents to recycle as much extra waste as possible through blue bins and recycling sites.
The cardboard from Easter egg packaging and any glass bottles and cans from Royal Wedding parties can all be recycled along with old newspapers, and old telephone directories.
A reminder to all gardeners that grass cuttings are welcome for recycling and can be disposed of in the green bins or for larger garden waste, items can be taken to the local community recycle centres in Gatewarth, Woolston and Stockton Heath.
These centres will be open throughout the bank holiday period.
