Six people charged following high-value burglaries

DETECTIVES investigating a series of high-value burglaries in Cheshire, including Warrington, have now charged six people in connection with the incidents.

All six defendants were arrested earlier this year as part of an investigation into 12 burglaries, including one at Woodlands Drive, Grappenhall on 21/5/22.

The defendants have now been charged with the following offences –

•Ryan Beevers, 33, Shadowmoss Road, Wythenshawe – Charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, Conspiracy to Acquire / Use / Possess Criminal Property (Money Laundering)
•Lyndsey Entwistle, 47, of Shadowmoss Road, Wythenshawe – Charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of criminal property, Conspiracy to Acquire / Use / Possess Criminal Property (Money Laundering)
•William Bate, 44, of Pendeen Close, Manchester – Charged with conspiracy to commit burglary
•Jonathan Bruton, 32, of 50 Croftlands Road, Wythenshawe – Charged with conspiracy to commit burglary
•Caine McConville, 25, of HMP Altcourse – Charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and handling stolen goods.
•Avis Phillips of Shadowmoss Road, Wythenshawe – Charged with Conspiracy to Acquire / Use / Possess Criminal Property (Money Laundering)

All six defendants have appeared at Magistrates’ Court and are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 21 December.
The charges relate to a series of burglaries in Prestbury, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Over Peover, Goostrey, Warrington and Bramhall.
The incidents occurred between February 2022 and June 2022.
