Beauty salon can go ahead

PLANNERS at Warrington have given the go-ahead for an office to be converted into a hair and beauty salon – despite fears expressed by nearby residents.
The property in Marsh Street will be able to operate as a hair salon on the ground floor with the beauty salon upstairs.
Nearby residents – backed by Cllr Tony Higgins – had expressed concern over parking problems and were also worried property could be devalued.
Issues over increased noise pollution were also dismissed as the committee felt any noise would be at a reasonable level and would not impact on neighbouring property.
