Three arrested for possessing offensive weapons as police issue town centre dispersal orders

THREE young people were arrested in Warrington town centre last night for possessing offensive weapons as police issued dispersal orders to tackle anti-social behaviour.

A male and a female have been arrested for possession of an offensive weapon after an excellent spot by Town Centre CCTV.

Another male was later sighted by the Town Centre CCTV operator and was also arrested for possession of an offensive weapon in Warrington Town Centre.

A number of dispersals were also issued to some youths forcing them to leave the Town Centre.
