More roadworks for village

MAJOR roadworks are due to start in Lymm from April 18 and continue for about two weeks.
Roads affected are Rectory Lane and The Cross from the junction at the A56 Church Road to the junction at the A6144, The Cross.
Daily road closures will allow resurfacing to take place. Rectory Lane will be closed to through traffic between Church Road and Pepper Street between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The area of The Cross, adjacent to The Stocks, and the Pepper Street junction will be closed between 9.30am and 1pm on days shown on signs to be erected in the area.
No weekend work is envisaged and pedestrian access will be available at all times during progress of the works.
Road closures and alternative routes will be clearly signposted for the duration of the works.
