Firefighters called out to tackle flat fire and caravan blaze

THREE fire crews were called out last night to tackle a flat fire in Warrington town centre, while a crew was also called out to deal with a caravan fire at Howley.

At 21:40 crews from Warrington, Penketh and Stockton Heath were called to reports of a flat fire on Museum Street, Warrington.

A fire in the living room of a flat required firefighters to use two hose reels to extinguish it. The crews removed smoke from the property with a large fan.
There were no reports of any casualties.

Then at 04:21 one crew from Warrington was called to reports of a caravan on fire on Howley Lane, Warrington.
Firefighters used a hose reel the extinguish it.
