WARRINGTON Wolves have set their sights on the Super League title thanks to a successful start to the Super League season including back to back victories over St Helens and Leeds Rhinos.
The club has teamed up with local optician Richard Shaw to ensure all players have the regular health care checks on their eyes which includes all the latest technology.
Richard said: “I was approached by the club to do some eye examinations on the players. I am delighted to have been asked to do this. If nothing else it is something a little bit different for the company. We work to give people the best possible quality of vision. We have carried out accurate and detailed eye examinations.
“As they are professional sports people these examinations will help us to identify and fine tune vision and improve judgement of distances helping to anticipate and see the ball more quickly. Vision training is also important to assist with their hand, eye co-ordination.”
John Hartley, Wolves Head Physiotherapist, added: “It is the medical team’s aim to address all aspects of medical care that may enhance performance. It is fantastic that Richard and his staff have agreed to support Warrington Wolves and provide detailed sport specific eye examinations for the players. Their input and feedback has been invaluable and let’s hope it will help the players keep their eyes on the ball!”
Meanwhile Richard Shaw Opticians is offering a special 15 per cent discount to all Warrington Wolves’ season ticket holders.
