Firefighters tackle large fire in a field at Lymm

ON traditionally one of the busiest nights of the year for fire crews, firefighters were called out to tackle a large fire in a field at Lymm.

A fire crew from Lymm Fire Station was called out shortly before 7:30 pm and struggled to gain access to the field off Old Mill Close, Lymm.

After having some difficulty accessing the fire, they wereable to deploy water jets. The fire was unattended and covered about 25 square metres and involved pallets, close to a hedgerow and trees.
