PLANS have been drawn up to build 10 homes on the site of a former office building at Grappenhall, Warrington.
The scheme involves the former Cruden Construction offices in Knutsford Road.
Currently being considered by Warrington Borough Council planning offices, the plans are for a development of 10 houses – 20 per cent of which would be affordable homes – following demolition of the offices. which have been vacant for some time.
The scheme involves associated landscaping and changes to the vehicular access to the site – reduced from two accesses to one.
Developers say the scheme will be designed to improve the appearance of the site, and will result in a high quality residential development respecting the existing character of the area.
Planning chiefs will announce their decision shortly.
