Police investigate after teenager attacked by two unknown men near McDonald’s

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was attacked by two unknown men near the McDonald’s restaurant on Winwick Road, during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The victim, an 18-year-old man escaped serious injury and did not require hospital treatment.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 4.30 am on Sunday, October 23, police were called to reports of an assault near to McDonald’s on Winwick Road.
“The victim, an 18-year-old local man, reported that he had been assaulted by two unknown men.
“The man did not sustain serious injuries and did not require hospital treatment.”
