Rugby League World Cup brings a taste of PNG coffee to Warrington Market

COFFEE lovers in Warrington got their first taste of one of Papua New Guinea’s largest exports thanks to the Rugby League World Cup.

After striking up relations with Papa New Guinea as a host town for the Rugby League World Cup, a batch of coffee arrived in Warrington – and got its first tasting at 2 Brothers Coffee stall at the town’s market.

Local coffee lover Adrian Derbyshire was on hand to do some “slurping” with Simon Dari Pih and Pamela Hoepel-Aupae from the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority, PNG team mascot Cedric and Natalie from 2 Brothers Coffee.
THE PNG coffee will be available at 2 Brothers for the duration of the Rugby League World Cup – and if it proves popular it could become a regular feature.
