POLICE were alerted last night after firefighters tackled a suspected deliberate fire in woodlands at Westbrook, Warrington.
One crew from Warrington was called out at 21:13 to reports of a fire in a wooded area off Westbrook Way, Warrington
The crew used a water backpack to put out the fire and informed police due to the nature of the incident, as it is suspected to have been started deliberately.
