POLICE have been providing a presence outside Penketh High School following reports of anti-social behavior and suspicious activity in the area.

The local PCSO provided a presence outside the school earlier this week until all pupils had left safely.

It follows reports of anti-social behaviour and suspicious activity on the public footpath outside the school between Heath Road and Highfield Road.

A spokesperson for Penketh High School posted on social media: “Thanks to Penketh Police Station for supporting, following reports of some people not connected to the school causing some issues around the local area. Really important we all support each other with community issues.”
