Teenager arrested with large quantity of drugs at Great Sankey

A teenager has been arrested in the Great Sankey area of Warrington in possession of a large quantity of drugs.

Following on from feedback from a Residents Voice survey, police in Great Sankey received several complaints regarding drugs misuse in the Warrington West area.

Last Friday, September 16, Officers stopped and searched an 18-year-old male in possession of a large quantity of drugs on Whittle Ave, Great Sankey.
Officers later arrested the male involved.

Police say they will continue to listen and act on public feedback to understand local communities.

Meanwhile, officers have been conducting several patrols across Great Sankey, assing attention has been provided to the following areas:
– Eagle Sports Club
– Crosfields Recreation Club
– Mapplewell Crescent
– Bunny Hollow
– Sycamore Lane
– Whittle Brook
Officers will continue to provide high visibility to local hot spots.
