Fun day helps raise lots of donations for Foodbank

A special fun day organised by Poulton with Fearnhead Parish Council helped raise lots of donations for the local Foodbank.

The event took place on Bennet’s Recreation ground with plenty of activities and displays to entertain the crowds.

Deputy Mayor of Warrington Cllr. Graham Friend and his consort wife Diana attended the event to show their support.

Entry to the event was free in return for donations to the local Foodbank.

A spokesperson for the parish council said: “We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard and made today possible you were all amazing and thank you to all you who came along today and made it the fun day it was!!!
“There were lots of donations from the amazing community for our foodbank and such a special day for all the families who came.”
