Police step up patrols due to ongoing arson incidents at Lymm

POLICE are stepping up patrols on a village road due to ongoing arson incidents backing onto the May Queen Field in Lymm.

High visibility foot patrols have been taking place on The Peppers due to the deliberate fires backing onto The May Queen field.

Local PCSOs have now made it their Street Of The Week for the first week of September, carrying out daily patrols as well as speaking to local residents regarding issues.
It follows ongoing issues with deliberate fires being started on The Peppers, including one incident when firefighters had to be called out.
