Man, 51, arrested on suspicion of affray following disturbance at Lower Walton

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray following a disturbance at Lower Walton, Warrington on Monday afternoon.

A large police presence attended at the scene shortly before 4 pm.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 3.50 pm on Monday 29 August police were called to Eastford Road in Warrington following reports of a disturbance between two men.

“Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of affray and he has since been released on conditional bail.”
