Woman to appear in court charged with drink driving on the M6 and being drunk in charge of a child

A woman will appear before Warrington magistrates in the morning (Tuesday) accused of drink driving on the M6 and being drunk in charge of a child.

Sarah Vazquez, aged 43 of Wheatfield Road in Cronton, who was arrested on the motorway at 11 am on Saturday, has been charged with drink driving and being drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven.

Vazquez was remanded in custody and will appear at Warrington Magistrates Court tomorrow, Tuesday 30 August.

The charges relate to a woman who was stopped in a silver BMW 1 Series on the M6 between junction 18 to junction 19 at 11am on Saturday 27 August.
