AFTER a shaky start Warrington Rylands season is up and running after an emphatic 5-0 win away at Belper Town.

Promoted to the NPL Premier alongside their visitors in the summer, Belper fell behind in the 3rd minute and had no way back into the contest.
Easily collecting a header from a corner, Rylands goalkeeper launched a huge clearance downfield the ball cleared the last defender and sat up nicely for Kane Drummond to lob Belper goalkeeper Ross Durrant to give Rylands an early lead.

Belper’s direct style of play pushed Rylands back deep into their own half without them threatening their goal before Rylands started to play their way back into the game.
Ryan Brooke went close to scoring his first goal for the club in the 16th minute but was inches off target, while Johnny Hunt and James Neild had shots saved by Durrant before Callum Dolan doubled Rylands advantage in the 34th minute.

Receiving the ball in midfield he ghosted past several defenders, rounded the keeper and slotted the ball into the net from a tight angle.
Belper started the second half on top but Rylands quickly resumed control with Brooke having a shot blocked by a desperate defender, Andy Scarisbrick shot over the bar from distance and Belper defender Todd Jordan lifted a dangerous low Hunt cross over his own bar.

Rylands netted the 3rd goal in the 64th minute, Dolan drove into the Belper penalty area, his shot was blocked by Durrant, the rebound fell to Drummond who fired the ball into the empty net.
The 4th goal came three minutes later when Brooke broke his duck. Scarisbrick ended a good run down the left with a pass that allowed Brooke to round the keeper and gleefully smash the ball into the net.
Belper were reduced to ten men in the 79th minute when Oliver Lobley was dismissed after receiving a second yellow card after he brought down Steve Irwin, twenty minutes after he had first been booked for fouling the same player.
