Foodbank reports staggering 143 % increase in demand for crisis food parcels in just six months

WARRINGTON Foodbank is appealing for more supplies after seeing a 143 percent increase in demand for crisis food parcels during the past six months.

In January 273 food parcels were distributed to people facing crisis in Warrington.

Just six months later, in June 22, the figure had risen to 664: an astonishing 143% increase!
