WARRINGTON Wolves’ youngsters Matty Blythe, Rhys Williams and James Peasnell are set to gain valuable experience by teaming up with Leigh, Crusaders and Rochdale respectively.
Young up-and-coming winger, Welsh International Williams has joined Crusaders RL on a month’s loan with immediate effect.
He made his first team debut ‘off the bench’ in the home fixture against Crusaders last season. He followed this up by being named in the starting 13 for the Featherstone Cup game last year and in the Magic Weekend clash with Salford at Murrayfield Stadium. It was in this game that he also crossed for his first try running unopposed to the line.
This loan spell will give Rhys further experience within the Super League competition.
The club have also agreed for young star Matty Blythe to join Leigh Centurions on dual registration following the success of this agreement last year.
Meanwhile Peasnell has joined Co-operative Championship 1 side Rochdale Hornets on Dual Registration.
Jamie, 22, joined the Wolves from local side Bank Quay Bulls in 2009 and was one of the six young players promoted to the first team training squad last season.
He represented the successful under 20s side that finished top of the table last year making the play-offs after a memorable season.
Rochdale are set to take on Barrow Raiders at the Spotland Stadium on Sunday in the Northern Rail Cup and Jamie is expected to be named in the squad this weekend.
Last season saw young players Blythe, Lee Mitchell and Tyrone McCarthy on Dual Registration with Leigh enabling to gain regular playing experience and develop themselves on the field.
