Alice meets the white rabbits

0

THE new “Alice” chosen by the Warrington-based Lewis Carroll Society had a very special meeting with white rabbits.
Ros Bayton, age nine, from Moore, has been chosen to be Alice this year.
She visited the children’s zoo at Walton Hall Gardens especially to meet the white rabbits.
The society supports the zoo’s adoption scheme, run by the friends of Walton Estate, by taking out an annual adoption of the rabbits for their current “Alice.”
This year Ros will receive a rabbit fact pack, certificate, keyring, newsletters, and birthday card and will be invited to a special adopter’s evening during the summer.
Adoptions start at only £12, and anyone interested in more information should contact the rangers on 01925 601617 extension 2.
