POLICE are describing the death of a man believed to be in his 40s, as not suspicious, but unexplained after officers discovered a body at Woolston on Wednesday evening.
A large police presence was seen in the area on Wednesday evening, with officers still in the area the following morning.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 8pm on Wednesday, August 3, police received a report of a body found near Juniper Lane, in the Woolston area of Warrington.
“Officers attended the scene and sadly found the body of a man, believe to be in his 40s.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious but is being treated as unexplained at this time. Enquiries are ongoing.”
