Gulliver’s World hosts fun-filled day for Ukrainian children

GULLIVER’S World recently hosted more than 40 Ukrainian children and their carers for a fun-filled day at the Warrington theme park resort.

The visit was designed to offer the children, currently in the UK due to the war in Ukraine, a welcome distraction from the horrors taking place in their homeland.
Gulliver’s World joined forces with the Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington to support the group and provide the children and their carers an opportunity for an exciting day of fun.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “We were very pleased to host the children and their carers at Gulliver’s World.
“The Russian invasion has forced the children from their homes so we wanted to do something to make them feel welcome and provided them with a happy day enjoying our rides and attractions.”

Samantha Butcher, from the Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington, said: “The Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington is very grateful to Gulliver’s World for helping to organise this fantastic day out.
“These children have already been through so much so it’s important that we try to make some happy memories during this very difficult time.
“The Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington are currently looking for volunteers and potential hosts to support these families.
