A building was evacuated at industrial premises in Risley, Warrington, as three fire crews tackled a fire involving a large sawdust container.

The fire involved a wood chipping storage unit at premises on Clayton Road shortly after 12:30 pm today, Tuesday.

Two covering jets and a hose reel were used. Crews needed to prevent water from entering drains so used specialist equipment to help hold some of the water.
There was no report of any injuries.
