Town bid to extend unbeaten run

WARRINGTON Town take on second bottom Ossett Albion at Cantilever Park

tomorrow night, Tuesday, hoping to extend their unbeaten run in all

competitions to 10 games, with five league victories from their last six

outings.
Currently lying 7th in the table, victory could take Warrington up into the conveted play-off positions but manager Joey Dunn will be taking nothing for granted against a side struggling at the wrong end of the table.
Town won 1-3 at Ossett in the opening game of the season, but lost all three points through fielding an ineligible player – so Dunn and his team will be keen to get maximum points as they continue the push for promotion.
He is waiting for a fitness test on striker Allan Collins (pictured right) who limped off with a slight groin injury in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Lancaster and is hopeful second-half substitue and leading goal scorer Tony Evans has shown no reaction to a back injury following a two month lay-off.
Meanwhile new-signing Kyle Hamid, a young midfielder, who impressed against Town in the Cheshire cup for Runcorn Linnets, could be added to the squad if he has recovered from flu.
