POLICE have stepped up patrols and are appealing for witnesses following reports of a man exposing himself near the Trans Pennine Trail and Heatley Mere at Lymm.
Officers from the South beat team and Cheshire police rural crime team have been on foot patrol on the Trans Pennie Trail today (Tuesday) in response to recently reported incidents, including the reported indecent exposure incident on Sunday.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 5.30 pm on Sunday, June 12, police were called to reports of a man exposing himself in the Lymm area of Warrington.
“The caller reported that at around 4.15pm that day, they witnessed a man exposing himself between Heatley Mere and Mill Lane.
“The suspect was described as a black man, in his late teens, around 6ft tall, of slim build with short hair.
“He was wearing black running shorts, a navy hoody, black sliders, white socks and glasses.”
