DETECTIVES at Warrington have today appealed for information following an attack on a local man in the early hours of New Years Day.
The attack took place in Poplars Avenue, Orford, when the 49-year-old local man was out walking his two dogs at about 1.30am.
He was subjected to an unprovoked attack by another man that left him with a broken jaw.
His attacker is described as young, with blonde hair.
He apparently launched the attack because the victim’s dogs were barking.
The victim received treatment at Warrington General Hospital.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC Alison Howarth at Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or alternatively information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

  1. Attacks in the early hours are common these days and there are no excuses for them but I bet a clown who has is dogsout barking in the early hours is really popular in his neighbourhood.
